Introduction:

Hyundai's lineup of SUVs is limited to three car-based crossover vehicles. These are strictly on-road vehicles, designed as people-haulers and commuters rather than heavy-duty work trucks or off-roaders. Every Hyundai gets a 5 year/60,000 mile basic warranty and a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

Tucson

Tucson debuted in the US as a 2005 model. The 2010 edition represents a pretty major facelift, the vehicle's first. Two trim levels are available: the base GLS and the loaded Limited. There's just one engine available, a 2.4 liter inline 4-cylinder with Continuously Variable Valve Timing, tuned to produce 176 hp and 168 lb-ft of torque. GLS models can be ordered with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic; Limited models get the automatic only. Both trim levels come with front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Tucson rides on a 103.9" wheelbase, with a total length of 173.2", width of 71.7", and a height of 65.2 - 66.3", with a curb weight of 3,179 - 3,607 lbs.. Luggage space behind the second row is 25.7 cubic feet, and cargo space with the second row folded flat is 55.8 cubic feet. The Hyundai Tucson will arrive with base prices from $18,995 to $28,695 and EPA fuel economy estimates from 21 mpg city/28 mpg highway to 23 city/31 highway.
