The 2006 Honda Pilot shares its engine and drivetrain with the pricier and much more glitzy Acura MDX. Like the MDX, the 2006 Honda Pilot features three rows of seating. The no-nonsense Pilot is my choice for best bang for the buck in a mid-size SUV. MSRP: $27K - $31K; Warranty: 3 years/36,000 miles. EPA: 18/24 (2WD); 17/22 (4WD).
