I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy an orange 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, but I might consider one in a more subdued color. But maybe Subaru is thinking about their active, youthful demographic. You know -- those people who put on spandex, drive off-road to some remote location and ride their mountain bikes to a big rock, which they then climb for no apparent reason.
