2010 GMC Terrain Photo Gallery

Thursday September 17, 2009

When the main difference between two vehicles is cosmetic, to be honest, doesn't a photo gallery tell the story almost as well as a review? Well, in the case of the 2010 Chevy Equinox and the 2010 GMC Terrain, the pictures tell one story, but I think there's even more context.

You have to consider where each vehicle fits into the lineup. Equinox sits in the middle of an expansive lineup that goes all the way from the tiny Aveo all the way to full-size pickups -- essentially all things to all people. Terrain, on the other hand, is the smallest entry in an expanding lineup that's trying to remain relevant in a time when its current offerings may seem too big, and a little out of touch. GMC made hay while the big truck fad raged, with everyone scrambling for the biggest, toughest vehicle they could possibly drive. Now that folks are being forced to downsize, GMC looks down the road and realizes that its bigger, badder trucks are going to fall by the wayside. So, here comes Terrain, with big, bad attitude but a small footprint and impressive fuel economy. So, there's more to the picture than meets the eye.

Take a look at this 2010 GMC Terrain Photo Gallery, and see if you don't agree.
