Ford Edge in Quantum of Solace

We went to the movies this weekend, as we do almost every weekend, to see the big Hollywood blockbuster.

This weekend, it was Quantum of Solace, the new James Bond film. My capsule review: Excellent car film, and even an almost excellent SUV flick. Bond drives an Aston Martin for the big chase scene, of course, but he also drives a Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged for a while. And the main villain, Dominic Greene (played by Mathieu Amalric) has a small fleet of Ford Edge crossover vehicles, dressed up to look like hydrogen-powered SUVs -- he's an evil environmentalist, you see. Daniel Craig as James Bond even winds up behind the wheel of the Edge for a short time.

So, as an SUV guy, I give it two thumbs up.

Oh, and the rest of the movie is pretty good, too.
