2008 Ford Edge Photo Gallery

Taste is a funny thing. What looks good one year can look silly the next, and vice versa. Car design is not immune to this process. Some designs strike a chord immediately, then look dated very quickly. Others take a while to grow on you, then look great upon reflection.

I'm still on the fence about the Ford Edge. Now that the Flex has hit the market, the Edge is starting to look like it was the leading edge of a new design direction for the formerly conservative company. But it still doesn't quite work for me -- it's a little too chunky, a little too forced.
