MPG Track Days 2009 Photo Gallery

Every year, the Motor Press Guild, the West Coast's autojournalists' organization, holds its track days at a local raceway. They convince the manufacturers to trek their wares out to the venue, and we get to drive them around the track and on the local streets. This year's event was at Auto Club Speedway in Ontario, California -- the jewel of the Inland Empire in San Bernardino County. The venue was lovely, the surroundings industrial and the vehicles excellent.

I spent most of my time driving SUVs and crossovers on the streets, and just a little bit of time on the track. A very productive couple of days that will bear fruit over the coming months, as well as a rollicking good time.
