Is the M-class attractive? Take a look at this 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML320CDI Photo Gallery and tell me what you think. Because I can't make up my mind.I know that it is classy-looking. Mercedes nails that nearly every time. But to my eye, the M-class looks like it was caught in the compactor, and barely escaped with its life. That wheels at the corners look does have some practical advantage, at least. The M-class is very easy to park, with minimal overhang front and rear.
But let's face it -- the M-class is kind of ugly. And that's hard to overlook.

Jason - I find the ML 320 to be a very attractive SUV. The improvement over the “Weeble Mobile”/raised-up minivan from its introduction is drastic. It may not be glaringly modern or even daring, but it is smooth, crisp and rich. Sounds like coffee doesn’t it? I was extremely dissapointed when MB redesigned it without a 3rd row (little did I know what was coming - GL)and don’t find it very removed from such vehicles as the new MDX, the Milano, the FX (?), et al. I know we’re moving in a crossover direction with SUV’s and I still believe that they should hold true to their truck origins (and be able to handle certain conditions) but since Toyota is going to be hard-pressed to get the 4Runner back to it’s glory; much less even back on the road in lieu of current gas prices, I’d take the ML and believe that it could actually handle certain conditions and I would sure be comfortable along for the ride. But what do I know, I’m the only one who responded…
Thanks, Sandy. I agree that the latest ML is an improvement over the first generation. I also agree that it is capable and comfortable. But I still don’t find it “very attractive.”
