2009 Subaru Outback PZEV Photo Gallery

Put a dog in a picture, and I'm a sucker -- it's a good picture. Put a dog in an SUV in a picture, and you've got my full attention.

I hereby present Sadie, the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, in a photo from Philip Powell's 2009 Subaru Outback PZEV Photo Gallery.

The Bernese Mountain Dog is one of the Swiss dog breeds (which also include the smaller Swiss Hounds, the Swiss Hounds, the Entlebuch Cattle Dog, the Great Swiss Mountain Dog and the St. Bernard), all of which trace their roots to Switzerland as recognized by the Swiss Kennel Club. According to The American Kennel Club, the Bernese Mountain Dog "is a striking. tri-colored, large dog. He is sturdy and balanced. He is intelligent, strong and agile enough to do the draft and droving work for which he was used in the mountainous regions of his origin."

If you've never met a Bernese Mountain Dog, your life is hardly complete. They are awesome, and I'm proud to feature a picture of Sadie on this site.
