The bar has been raised substantially in the compact crossover field. A vehicle that was near the top of the class when it arrived in 2005 struggles to compete in 2008.

Check out my 2008 Hyundai Tucson SE 4WD Test Drive and Review. It's not that Tucson is bad -- it's not, it's actually quite good. It's that the competition is much better, and at around the same price point. Hyundai has got to move faster. They are a generation behind, and it's showing.
