Pricing announced for the 2009 Nissan Murano

Monday January 28, 2008
Last month, I reviewed the first of the 2009 SUVs, the 2009 Nissan Murano. Nissan wasn't yet ready to reveal the details of pricing for the new Murano at the time, but they have finally made up their minds.

Shockingly, Nissan has announced that Murano prices will be $1,500 lower for 2009 on all trims vs. the previous generation. Here's how it breaks down:

  • S 2WD: $26,330
  • SL 2WD: $27,880
  • S AWD: $27,930
  • SL AWD: $29,480
  • LE AWD: $35,910
That pricing should keep Murano very competitive, especially with the incremental changes and improvements in the 2009 model.

Wow, a price DE-crease? That’s a surprise. I haven’t heard publicity about this and you think they’d make a big deal about it. Maybe they wanted to get the jump on other SUV makers?
