2008 Mercury Mariner Premier 4WD Test Drive and Review

Wednesday January 16, 2008
Remember that old Stealers Wheel song, "Stuck in the Middle with You"? Of course you do -- it has that great slide guitar riff, and Quentin Tarantino used it in Reservoir Dogs under the razor-meets-ear scene. Well, that's the problem for the 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier 4WD.

Stuck between Ford and Lincoln, Mercury is a nameplate in search of an identity. And Mariner is an SUV without a country -- it isn't more luxurious than Escape, it's just different.

Is a mere cosmetic difference enough to lure you over from Ford to Mercury? Read my 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier 4WD Test Drive and Review, then click on "comments" below and share your thoughts.

I had a cat stripped from my Tacoma 2 nights ago. I need a whole new exhaust at a price of $2100.00. I hope the thief enjoys the $150.00 he gets. He/she must really have needed it. I hope its used for baby formula or maybe a charitable donation.
