A little nip here; a small tuck there; Chevy's Tahoe Hybrid shaves its coefficient of drag to 0.34. That's the same as a 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe. It's better than a 2005 Jaguar XKR or a 2001 Honda Civic. For a big, spacious vehicle, 0.34 is astounding.

Most engineers will tell you that cd is more important at highway speeds than it is in city traffic -- in fact, aerodynamic drag was one of the factors cited in lowering speed limits in the 1970s to save fuel.

The bonus for Tahoe Hybrid is sleeker looks. Take a look at this 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid 2WD Photo Gallery, then click on "comments" below and share your thoughts.
