2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid 2WD Test Drive and Review

Friday January 11, 2008
Isaac Newton was right. At least I think he was. There are some physical laws of the universe that are simply immutable.

I'm not sure that General Motors has heard the news. Read my 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid 2WD Test Drive and Review, and you'll see what I mean.

One of the immutable, unchangeable laws of the physical universe is that full-size SUVs get terrible gas mileage. Right? Well, Tahoe Hybrid 2WD claims 21 mpg city/22 mpg highway. It doesn't seem possible. I didn't have the Tahoe Hybrid long enough to do an extensive fuel economy test, but I have to believe the EPA. Tahoe Hybrid sips gas like a Toyota Camry sedan.

Great review. The car sounds really intriguing from your description, and I loved the liberal use of oxymorons!
