Temecula or Bust!
Today I head off to Temecula, California, "Where the sun breaks through the mist." The one-time home of Erle Stanley Gardner, creator of Perry Mason, Temecula is about an hour and a half southeast of Los Angeles. Why Temecula, you may ask?
For you, gentle reader. That's why.
General Motors has invited a bunch of Southern California motor press types out to an event that they're calling "The General Motors Collection." According to the invitation:
The all-new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups will be on display along with our new crossovers, the GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. GM executives, engineers and other product experts will be available to answer your questions and to ride along with you as you experience our new vehicles.Should be informative, entertaining and exhausting, probably in that order.
BJ Killeen attended an early introduction of the GMC Acadia, so I'm eager to drive it and ask the engineering team some questions.
I'll report back when I return from beautiful downtown Temecula later in the week.
