2007 Mitsubishi Outlander Test Drive & Review
There's no accounting for Japanese taste in a lot of things -- remember Shonen Knife? But when it comes to compact SUVs, I have a lot of respect for the Japanese buying public's choices.
Our BJ Killeen was recently invited to San Francisco to drive the latest edition of the Mitsubishi Outlander, which just happens to be the best-selling SUV in the Japanese market. BJ came away impressed, saying that the Outlander "delivers on its promise of a quiet, smooth ride, fun-to-drive capabilities, and what should be a reasonable entry price." That's a big improvement over the previous generation -- in my review of the 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander, I complained about its "tinny doors, mismatched dash and buzzy engine."
Was Mitsubishi listening? Check out BJ Killeen's review of the 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander and decide for yourselves.
